Name – Pick Axe Pale Ale

Appearance – Poured a slightly hazy amber color with a very small white head.  But surprisingly it left quite a bit of lacing on the glass.

Smell – Slightly hoppy aroma with a little bit of pine.

Taste – The taste was kind of minimal on everything.  Slight hops, slight malty flavors and a little bit of a floral background.

Pick Axe seemed to lack in overall flavor as the flavors seemed like they were just there but didn’t stand out.  I could see this as being a good gateway beer for someone new to the craft beer scene because it will not over power them.  But for someone looking for a lot of flavor this one feel a bit short.
