Name – Ruedrich’s Red Seal Ale
Country – United States
Type – American Red Ale
Appearance – A nice clear amber color with a slightly off white head.
Smell – Not very extreme with the smells but a slight malty smell with a hint of the hops.
Taste – Very nice mix of malts and hops. Not over powering with either and had a very clean and crisp finish.
My experiences with brews from North Coast Brewery have been extremes. They either have a big burst of flavor that is a little too much for me or not a whole lot. I must say that this one was different. While it didn’t burst with flavor it didn’t lack any either. It was just right. It’s not very hoppy at all so if hops isn’t your thing you may enjoy this one as it mixes them in well with malts.
Overall Grade – B
