Appearance – A dark amber color with a very small white head that didn’t last long.

Smell – A very sweet smell of malt and caramel.

Taste – Also a very malty, sweet taste.  A hint of caramel to it.

It was a very nice full bodied beer with a nice sweet taste to it as you would expect from a German style amber beer.  The name fits it well and I look forward to having this more often as the fall comes around.

Overall Grade – B-
