Don’t get too excited, it’s only a small beer company.
Jessica Simpson is expanding her empire. First, she tried her luck at acting (specifically in “The Dukes of Hazzard” and, in some people’s opinion, her “Newlyweds” reality show). And after she was crushed for being rather bad (as was the consensus opinion), she went back to singing. But since a large part of her fan base from the early 2000’s had grown up, she took her Daisy Dukes act on the road to support her new country album. That’s gone over much better, but now the 28-year-old girlfriend of Tony Romo has bought a piece of Stampede Brewing Co. In return, the company will make Simpson the face of one of their most interesting products – Stampede Light Plus – which has vitamins. In return for being seen in store ads, Simpson gets a 15% stake in the brewery. So, check out your local store and bar to see ads of Simpson, and to see if there really is a benefit of having vitamins in your beer. It sounds crazy, but hey, you never know.
