While all the big news today is about International IPA Day there is something else going on in South Florida today and that is a Cigar City dinner pair with traditional Cuban food.  It takes place at Padrino’s in Plantation and here are the 5 courses to expect.

• Beef empanadas paired with Maduro Brown Ale
• Roast Pork paired with Guava Grove
• Ropa Vieja paired with Big Sound Scotch Ale
• Paella paired with Jai Alai IPA
• Tres Leches paired with Cubano Espresso

The dinner starts at 7 pm and is $29 + tax and gratuity.  This is sure to be an awesome pairing.  I wish I could make it but unfortunately proximity to my work and other engagements planned don’t make it possible for me.  But if you are in southern Broward or in Dade county you really should think about going to this.
