A lot of breweries have their once a year big beer releases.  There’s Dark Lord, Hunahpu’s, Darkness, Kate the Great, etc.  Well South Florida’s own Funky Buddha hopes to add their name to the hat of yearly most wanted beers.  This Sunday (June 26th) they will release Wide Awake it’s Morning, an imperial version of the number one rated American Porter in the world Maple Bacon Coffee Porter.

The event starts at 3 pm at the Buddha (no cover) and will be on tap with some other yummy treats including the following.

• No Crusts (Peanut Butter & Jelly Brown Ale)
• Vanilla Espresso Porter
• Pineapple Hop Gun
• Bourbon Oaked Nikolai Vorlaff (Imperial Stout)

Plus you will have all the year round Buddha beers you have come to love.

Now keep in mind there are only 35 gallons of Wide Awake it’s Morning so be sure to get out there and have a glass before it’s all gone.  Otherwise you’ll have to wait until next year.  So I hope to see a number of you out there.
