Appearance – A darker copper color with a nice white head that laced the glass pretty good.

Smell – Quite hoppy in the smell with hints of citrus and floral notes.

Taste – Big hoppy taste with grapefruit notes and slight hints of orange peel.

This is Avery’s 2009 Inauguration special beer and it is quite a nice beer.  Very hoppy for those hop heads out there with some nice citrus notes under that.  I drank this last night during Lost instead of on the actual Inauguration Day because I had other plans I had to attend to that evening.  I was worth the wait and is very good brew.

Overall Grade – B+
