Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat

Name – Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat
Country – United States
Type – Wheat

Appearance – Light/Mid golden color, comparable to apple juice. No head, even when poured improperly from a bottle.

Smell – An overwhelming smell of cherries. Very aromoatic, similar to liquored cherries. Very appealing, but deceving.

Taste – Great taste, but different from the first time I sampled this beer. I first tried this beer at The Treasure Coast Beer Festival, I may have been to under the influence. I recall the beer being amazing and I raved about it to all my buddies. I was a little dissapointed this time around. Slightly watered down, but still very tasty. Just like the smell the cherries where very obvious in the taste. Lacked a little in the carbonation area, but not bad. Just the mix of watered down and carbonation was not good.

Despite popular belief, Samuel Adams uses real Michigan cherries. Unlike the opinions of certain beer advocates, DAN.

Price -$1.79

Overall Grade – B-

Apologies for Chris’ glass as we were at a different location than normal and not enough proper glassware was available.
