Name – Hofbräu Dunkel

Appearance – Deep red almost brown color.  The first glass produced a very small head that disappeared almost immediately but my second had a much fuller white frothy head.

Smell – Malty smell but was a little sweet like citrus.

Taste – Sweet taste similar to the smell.  A hint of honey.

Dunkel lagers are quickly becoming a favorite of mine and this one definitely is up there.  I kind of chose this one at random just because it was a dunkel.  I was not disappointed at all as it was a nice full taste that I was hoping for with that bit of sweetness.

Overall Grade – B+
