Name – Stone Levitation Ale
Country – United States
Type – American Red Ale
Appearance – Poured a nice, clear, red color with a slight off white head that laced the glass wonderfully.
Smell – Big hoppy smell. Pine and citrus hops here.
Taste – Nice hoppy taste with some roasted malt notes.
I picked this up because it had not been available here before. I’m surprised to read that it is only 4.4% ABV. It definitely does not have a light beer look or taste to it. It reminded me of a more calm Arrogant Bastard. I think this would be a really good one to help getting people into good beers.
Overall Grade – B-
