Denver Pale Ale
7 Jun
Name – Denver Pale Ale
Country – United States
Type – English Pale Ale
Appearance – Pours a very cloudy straw yellow color with a huge frothy white head. Lacing was amazing as I have seen with past Great Divide brews.
Smell – Very yeasty at first smell with some spices to it. Some earthy hops in the background.
Taste – Quite yeasty in taste. It almost reminded me of a saison. Some floral and earthy hop notes and a bit of a bread taste.
As will all Great Divide brews the lacing of this was amazing. I was thrown off by the smell and taste as it very much reminded me of a saison as opposed to a pale ale. Not bad either way though.
Overall Grade – B
