Happy Drinking Day, Happy Turkey Day and All That Jazz

23 Nov

Today is said to be the biggest day of drinking of the year.  Families are coming into town for tomorrow and people need to prepare by getting nice and sauced.  Well if those are your plans enjoy and be safe.  I’ll be at home probably just enjoying a brew while I try my hand at a new dish I thought up for dinner.

As for tomorrow I plan to watch some football with my dad before we eat.  I’ll crack open my 1 year old bottle of The Bruery’s Autumn Maple and enjoy that with the meal.  Afterwards will probably spend some time with the girlfriend and a couple close friends and enjoy a couple nice beers as well.  Because if there’s one thing I love about sharing good beer it’s sharing it with people you love.

Let me know what you plan on having for tonight or tomorrow or both.  Happy Thanksgiving all!

Mike, Nice choice, Autumn Maple. I recently had a bottle and loved it. Just leave the yeasty sediment behind in the bottle. Cheers!
