Tequesta Release Hop Scotch Tonight

Tonight Palm Beach County’s own Tequesta Brewing Company will release their first ever bottled beer.  Dubbed Hop Scotch as a hoppy scotch ale that is then oak aged, the bottles go on sale tonight at the tasting room at 6 pm sharp.  There are only 600 12oz. bottles so this is a pretty limited release.   There is a 4 bottle limit and they are $6 each

Well, the beer certainly sounds fantastic and I’d love to try it, but I wont be able to attend.

Am I just out of touch and used to paying retail prices? Or is $6 for a 12 ounce bottle on the extremely pricey side?

Rob – I don’t find the price that bad. You can definitely pay more for a 12 oz bottle.

I’ve been wanting to try some of the Tequesta stuff, heard some good things about them. I have to side with “Rob” on this one, $6 for a 12oz bottle is pretty damn expensive, I know its a limited batch and all but damn…

    -Cheers.
