Massive Midget (Home Brew Tasting)

Name – Massive Midget
Country – United States
Type – Stout

Appearance – Poured a dark brown but let some light through with a huge bubbly light brown head.

Smell – Wasn’t picking up a whole lot but did get some coffee like notes.

Taste – Very highly carbonated. Some coffee and chocolate notes with a slightly boozy backing to it. A little bit of an earthy hop taste at the end.

This is my first time reviewing a home brew. Chung at the Coffee District gave me this and another to take home and try the other night. I think this bottle may have gotten too much of the carbonation sugar in the bottle because this was very highly carbonated. Made a mess on my counter when I poured it about half into my glass I would like to try this again to see if maybe it was just this bottle that caused this.
