Stoudt’s Pils

Name – Stoudt’s Pils
Country – United States
Type – German Pilsner

Appearance – Pours a clear straw yellow color with decent sized white head that went away pretty quick.

Smell – Crisp grainy smell up front with some grassy hop notes as well.

Taste – Pretty dead on with the smell.  Very smooth and crisp grainy taste and slight bittering hoppy taste in there as well.  Finishes clean.

A very straight forward and good pils right here.  Nothing fancy to it and something I could enjoy on a hot day by the pool that I do not have.  But if I did I would probably be drinking this.

Overall Grade – B+

Nice. I just got a beer from them, Scarlet Lady or something? Haven’t tried it yet or any of their stuff for that matter. Anyway, why not chill in the bathtub and pretend its a pool?

Their Double IPA is really good. Try that if you get a chance.

    HAHA I don’t even have a tub! I have a standing shower only 🙂

Good thing i don’t know waht you look like mike, or I would have a weird mental picture right now…
anyway, I had this one early this summer. It wasn’t bad…just have to be in the mood for it. Our Sip With Us Saturday beer this week is Bitburger Pils…I’ll see how it measures up.

You get a general idea of what I look like from my avatar. 🙂

I enjoy Bitburger. A local German bar owner gave me and friend free Bitburger shirts a while ago. Free beer swag is cool. Free beer swag of good beer is even better.

Mike, don’t worry about Nate. As long as you don’t have a denim unitard, you’ll be OK! 😉 Mike, maybe you can get a neighbor to just spray you down with a hose or something? I mean its not a pool but it sound like we need a creative solution to this problem.
