Name – Lagunitas Lucky 13 Anniversary Release
Country – United States
Type – American Red Ale
Appearance – Pours a clear, deep red color with a slightly off white head that laces the glass a good deal.
Smell – Nice bold citrus hops with a caramel and other earthy notes in the back.
Taste – Big hops that mix lovely with sweet malt backing to it.
To say I was really happy with this would be an understatement. The hop and malt mixture was very good giving a nice full taste without overpowering you with hops.
Overall Grade – A

I almost picked this up…I will now. It is a pretty inexpensive beer, for what you get!
August 20, 2009 at 8:54 amIt definitely is a great price. I don’t know about in Ohio but down here it is less that $4 for a bottle.
August 20, 2009 at 8:57 amDid you find this at total Wine?
