Name – Meantime India Pale Ale
Country – England
Type – English India Pale Ale
Appearance – Pours a hazy orangish color with a big white head that laced the glass all the way down.
Smell – Not much going on in the nose. There is some yeast and floral hops but they don’t stand out.
Taste – Nice dry hop taste throughout that is a little piney but more sweet with some citrus to it. Not as intense on hops as an American version but that’s not the English style.
I’ll admit that this beer ticked me off a little bit at first but completely redeemed itself. First when I popped the cork and set the bottle down the beer just came flowing out of the the top. After cleaning it up and pouring the lack of any big scent worried me. But upon tasting I was brought back and enjoyed this good English IPA.
Overall Grade – A-

These guys make some good stuff. Try their London Porter if you haven’t already. Also, they make a pretty good Belgian beer.
