Appearance – Pours a opaque black color with a slightly off white head.

Smell – Roasted malts and an ever so slight chocolate smell to it.

Taste – Toasted malts and grains with a little bit of chocolate notes to it.  Slight alcohol taste over time of drinking it.

A pretty straight forward porter here.  Good roasted smells and flavors on it with a nice full body.  I don’t really see the imperial part of this but it is still a good all around porter.

Overall Grade – B-
