Mojo Risin Double IPA

Name – Mojo Risin Double IPA

Appearance – Pours a clear amber color with a little white head that stuck around for a bit and left some lacing on the glass.

Smell – Citrus hops with a slight caramel malt backing to it.

Taste – Quite a big alcohol bite to it.  It had some nice grapefruit hop flavors and slightly sweet malts but the alcohol kind of took one’s concentration.

An okay DIPA here but the alcohol burn wasn’t masked to well with this one.  It’s not so bad that it makes it undrinkable but definitely over powers the other flavors of the beer.

Overall Grade – C-
