Type – Farmhouse Saison
Appearance – Pour a hazy, straw yellow color with a nice, frothy head.
Smell – Smell is quite yeasty with some spices present.
Taste – Sweet taste with yeast present and spices. Taste of pepper in there.
This is a some what decent saison from Saint Somewhere in Florida. Good carbonation but the flavors just didn’t seem to come all together in comparison with other saisons.
Overall Grade – C+
If you want a good American version, Le Merle from North Coast is good.
