Name – Great White
Country – United States
Type – Witbier
Appearance – Pours a hazy, straw yellow color with no head. I thought I may have just poured the first bottle wrong but the second one was the same.
Smell – A lot going on here. Smells of citrus, wheat, yeast and almost like a pepper smell.
Taste – Pretty on with the smells. Big wheat and yeast flavors and almost a sweet bubble gum taste I picked up in there with the citrus.
A very complex white ale we have here with a lot of different things mixed in there with the smells and tastes. Other than the total lack of head on the beer I would say this is an above average white ale.
Overall Grade – B-
