Appearance – Poured a very black color with a nice light brown head.

Smell – Roasted malts and slight smell of chocolate.

Taste – Very slight tasted of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate.

I was recommended this one a couple weeks ago on Twitter so I gave it a shot.  The look was nice but it kind of fell flat on the taste.  It didn’t seem that full of a body that you would expect from a stout and the flavors seemed distant.  While I don’t mind the coffee taste being distant everything else was.  It’s also very hard to compare most oatmeal stouts when you have had Sam Smith’s in your life.  Maybe would recommend this to people just starting on stouts.
