There is a catch though. I had this beer in Austria, just around the time of Oktoberfest and let me tell you, the version we get here in the states is NOTHING like what I had. The reason being, the beer we end up with is already old. I swear on my beer honor, this was the best beer I ever tasted when I was in Austria...fresh, crisp, perfect balance of hops and malt...and I got ripped off my ass!! I have yet to find it as fresh or rewarding back in the states which is so unfortunate. BEST EVER OKTOBERFEST BEER!! There is a catch though. Its a good beer no doubt, but it left me underwhelmed for some reason. I thought it rather bland.
