Appearance – Light amber color with nice sized white head.
Smell – A slightly hoppy smell with a hint of citrus.
Taste – A hoppy taste of grains but finishes smooth with a good after taste.
In the world of American IPAs this one ranks among the best. Dogfish Head is acclaimed for a lot of their brews. Some of which I have enjoyed and some I have not. Their IPA though is definitely among those that I enjoy. Possibly the best IPA I have had yet.
Overall Grade – A-

I’ve heard good things about the Dogfish Head brews too, but I just couldn’t get into the IPA style! I’m looking to try a different brand IPA to see if the style grows on me somehow. I know a lot of people like this beer!
