TIGER (A FIERCE LAGER)

Sorry I haven’t been able to post sooner, especially since TIGER Lager deserves a good review.

Name – Tiger
Country
– Singapore
Est. – 1932
Type – Lager

Appearance – Light in color, a perfect mix in color between a Yuengling and a Bud-lite. Unfortunately very little head (disappointing to me, but OK with others)

Smell – The smell of this Lager will throw many off, by its lack of aroma. When in fact is an amazing BEER!

Taste – Ah….were it all counts. Tiger was a decent beer, flavorsome yet had a bit of a bite to it. I thought on intial taste, that the after taste was much to bitter and overwhelming when in fact its just right. The after taste reminds me of something, but I just couldn’t but my finger on it. So if you have sampled this fine Lager let me know your opinion on the after taste. Tiger would not be a good gaming or lounging beer, it would be perfect with dinner. For all those interested in chugging a beer, this beer is for you. Yet Yuengling still holds the Lager title in my book, but Tiger is not a bad beer.

Price – Very important with today’s economy. This beer is very affordable, I did not purcahse in a six pack, but was purchased individually for about $1.75

Overall Grade – B- to C+

Tiger is one of the more popular beers here in Thailand. It is drank a lot by the Europeans cause of the stronger flavor. Thai beer is pretty much piss swill.
